So I’m doing this again.

Well its my first post/entry/whatever you call this on this website. So, I’m RockDove2, but you can call me Dove/A/ nothing bc I’m not linking my socials here don’t contact me. And this is my (second) little internet corner to ramble about whatever.

Im not gonna give you the ramble about why I joined Neocities – its literally the exact same reason everyone ever has. Hating centralised internet, AI slop in everything ALL THE TIME, wanting more customisation etc. etc.

This site (well in theory) I’m just going to ramble about whatever I feel like. Life updates (shits getting too serious rn) and mostly random entries I guess. Like a diary. Except public. Which is good because I’m a massive attention whore.

I’m still pretty new to Neocities, I had my old site for like, a month. But, Jesus Christ, I hate manually making the thing. Its not HTML, love that one its great. Its fucking CSS. Specifically grids and flexboxes and whatever else there is. Like I cant just put a box next to another or something, its gotta be all complicated and shit. Do web developers seriously use this? Have we not thought of anything better and can we get on that?

So that's why I’ using zonelets as a base. Its a simple layout (even if idk how the js works like at all) and I just like my layouts to, yk, work? And also I don’t wanna pay for shit fuck you this is the internet no one pays for things here that's like the whole appeal (at least for my broke ass).

I’m not entirely happy with my site right now, I may be an artist (reminder: add an art page) but colour picking has never been my strong suit, regardless I hope you stick around while I figure out this whole indie web thing. Its not even complicated there’s not a lot to figure out really. But expect MAJORRRR changes for a while, or not, since I’ve got exams and shit coming up (imagine a long drawn out sigh) and its serious this time. But after that there will be MAJORRRR changes.

Anyways, this has been a whole lot of nothing, hope this wasn’t too jarring to read.
